  The Rutgers EcoComplex has more going on than most people know. It is more than a pretty building that sits on the corner. The EcoComplex is training/conference center, a clean energy and environmental research facility, an incubator, etc. I had the pleasure of both interning there and working in their greenhouse, as part of their greenhouse business incubator program, for a kosher produce company.
  
  You can find classes and training there year round. Much like an agricultural extension office, the EcoComplex wants to reach out to help not only the local farmer, but the entire local population.
  
  The EcoComplex offers laboratory space, greenhouse space and additional resources to help incubate business trying to get their feet off the ground.
  
  Clean energy and environmental research is being done there constantly. They capture landfill gas and convert it to energy; which in turn helps power their facilities. They also have one of the country's largest anaerobic waste digesters. There is even a falcon/bird of prey rehabilitation area.
  
  I have nothing but great things to say about the staff there as well. I worked fairly closely with the Assistant Director, Dave Specca, and Russell Wright, the Greenhouse Manager. Even though Dave must have been extremely busy managing the large complex and all its activities and departments, he always had time to talk or help out with any issues. Russell was always there with a helping hand and a smile to help me figure out anything in the greenhouse.
